Carolina Hurricanes vs. Washington Capitals Prediction
I’m on the Capitals here. It will be interesting to see how the goaltending situation unfolds with both teams #1 goalies getting injured in the first round. That being said, both have tremendous goaltending depth, and I think the difference here, like in the regular season, is going to be home ice. The Hurricanes did a decent job in their road action in the first round, but they were still a far less effective road team in the regular season and the Capitals ended up being better at home. I think Washington draws first blood here. Give me the Capitals.
